Close to Swindon, easy to get to from Station, lots of parking, nice big rooms, good spa, swimming pool etc facilities, tennis court, British breakfast, comfortable bed.

Yes it’s dated, wow staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, ate ib the restraint and the bar, the food was good quality and value. The rooms are dated, but I loved it. Absolutely spotless and nothing is worn out, just a bit dated with mahogany furniture but lots of space and places to put your things. We stayed in the pavilion building and it’s the best nights sleep I’ve had in months……Will defo return and is our new fav quiet weekend spot

easy to park, easy check in , helpful staff, large room, comfy beds, good sized bath in the bathroom , nice food in restaurant, good breakfast , great location for what we wanted

The beautiful and strategic location for visiting the Cotswolds and the elegant yet familiar style of the hotel. The original building where we stayed is very welcoming in perfect English style, and the new structure is impeccable with its restaurants, fitness area, and pool. We appreciated the welcoming and availability of the staff. The room was very spacious and carefully detailed. The gardens and the hills were a beautiful place for walks and for play. We will return! Highly recommended :)

Check-in very simple and straightforward. Plenty of parking space at the hotel entrance. The first thing we noticed was how clean our room was. It was a large inviting room, with a nice area to sit and read a book. The tea making facility was lovely with good quality tea coffee and biscuits, with the bonus of a fridge to store our milk. The bathroom was large, bright and clean. The bathroom included a bath and separate shower. Good toiletries included. The bed was possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We only had a small amount of food whilst staying here and it arrived hot and in good time. The bar area is really nice and we managed to spend our evenings here having a few drinks. Lovely atmosphere. The staff were kind and pleasant to make conversation with, even though they were very busy at times. The grounds of the hotel were clean and tidy, and the whole area was peaceful. We took a lovely walk around the grounds on our first evening. We did view the swimming pool area, it looked very inviting but unfortunately on this occasion we didn't have the time to try it out. Staff at the pool reception were also friendly and knowledgeable. We would stay here again in an instant!
